Jose Mourinho is known for having a big mouth and often gets involved in mind games before the kick off. Now, he took another bite at Barcelona by saying his Inter’s dream of winning the Champions League is purer than Barcelona’s obsession over it.
Here is the pre-match interview he gave to UEFA.com and Inter.it: “We have the dream of winning the Champions League and for Barcelona it’s an obsession. This is the difference. A dream is purer than an obsession. There is pride in a dream, anywhere in the world. For Barcelona it was a dream to reach the final in Rome, but to reach the final at the Bernabeu is obsession for them.”
Then he went on to add: “Barcelona are a top team with a top coach and top players. They have had the same philosophy of play for many years, but at the same time they are a team that has adapted. We have seen Ibrahimovic and Messi play in many different positions. It is a team full of diversities in its play. We have our way of playing, and we are thinking about ourselves. It’s not a drama for us how they play.”
The Portuguese coach even revealed a big part of his starting lineup for tonight’s crucial game: “Sneijder is fine and he will play. We will see after the match if he is okay for ninety minutes. He still has a small problem but he gave a positive response in our final training session and there are no doubts. The others? Julio Cesar, Lucio, Maicon, Samuel, Zanetti, Cambiasso, Sneijder, Eto’o and Milito, so that’s nine or ten already…”
