Our top NBA betting pick for February 16, 2023 comes with the most accurate Bucks at Bulls prediction. Tonight’s action in the NBA will be the last for the next seven days as the regular season takes a break for the All Star Weekend. Milwaukee are the hottest team in the league right now having won eleven straight games. However, the Bulls, despite all of the struggles this year have been a boogie team for the Bucks as they’ve won the first two matchups. So the big question heading into tonight’s game in Chicago is will the Bucks’ streak continue, or will be Bulls manage to put an end to it and enter the All Star break with a little something to cheer about?
The Bucks Are Stacked, Locked In And Loaded
Led by Giannis, the Milwaukee Bucks are second in the Eastern Conference with a record of 40 wins and 17 Losses. The return of Middleton has allowed them to hit their groove and have most of their squad fully available. In light of this Bucks at Bulls prediction in particular, we do have to outline that former Bull Bobby Portis will miss tonight’s game. Portis is certainly a very important player for the Bucks, he can stretech the floor with this three-point shooting, he rebounds, and just plays hard every time. So that’s defintely a big loss or the Bucks, but they do have plenty of depth in their roster to fill this void.
Joe Ingles made a return about a month ago and has been starting to hit his stride. Middleton is playing better and better and getting back to his best. Obviously, Jrule Holiday, who will be an All Star this year, also brings a lot to the table. Big time player that can hit the clutch shots at the end.
Bucks Defeated Celtics In Their Last Game To Extend Their Win Streak
In their last game on Tuesday, the Bucks defeated the Celtics who are number one in the East. The Cs were playing without Jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum and pushed the Bucks all the way to Overtime. Jrue Holiday errupted for 40 points, while Giannis messed around and nearly got a trippe-double with a 34-point game to go along with 13 rebounds and 9 assists. Khris Middleton, who is under minutes restriction and comes off the bench these days, chipped in with 16 points in 24 minutes. It was a win nevertheless, but certainly did not come easy against a depleted Celtics team missing all five of their starters – Tatum, Brown, Smart, Horford, and Robert Williams. This could be taken as an alarming sign for Milwaukee when making this Bucks at Bulls prediction for today.
Struggling Bulls Keep Dropping Big Leads
Last night was another game and another big lead dropped by the Bulls as they lost to the Pacers after bursting to a 39-15 lead after the first quarter. This is probably the tenth time this year when the Chicago Bulls have lost a game after taking a 20-points lead. It’s the same story over and over again, and you can hear coach Billy Donovan and the players just talking the same stuff after each loss, and yet nothing changes. Again, in the postgame conference, Donovan was talking about having to play hard for the full 48-minutes. That this is the new NBA where 20-point leads can evaporate quickly with all the three point shooting, and so on.
Yet, the frustrations simply keep piling up for the Bulls. They do have good players on their team. Three of them could have been All Star – Vucevic, Lavine and DeRozan. Still, they have not played well consistently and simultaneously. It’s either one or two at most that have a good game, and that’s it. The rest of the roster is pretty average and certainly lack a scoring punch.
Ayo Dosunmu in his second year, a good defender, but he can’t really produce scoring outbursts like Lonzo Ball, who has been spiraling down in the rabit holes of knee injuries. Alex Caruson, again good defender, but averages about five points per game. Demar DeRozan missed last night’s game against the Pacers and is listed as questionable for this Bucks at Bulls prediction.
Bucks at Bulls Prediction
It’s the second night of a back-to-back for the Bulls, and they’ve been really struggling this year. Up against them is a much better Bucks team on a 11-game win streak. Logically, the bookies are favoring the Bucks to win this game as the odds on them are at 1.40, while a win for the Bucks could more than triple your bank. So what’s it going to be?
