City’s Billionaires are in trouble at this stage of the season having recorded two straight goalless draws and now Italian manager Roberto Mancini is under fire. A failure to win this one against Fulham will certainly make the situation even more difficult for the former Inter coach. What’s interesting is that the man who could cost him his job is none other than Mark Hughes – the manager who was fired by the Arabs at City in order to bring in Mancio. So there is a lot more to this game than just the regular 3 points.
Mark Hughes is now in charge of Fulham and will have his players fired up for this contest. He won’t be able to rely on attackers Boby Zamora and Moussa Dembele, but will have Mexican defender Salcido back in the lineup. Fulham are one of the thoughest and most resiliant sides in the Premier League. They are extremely difficult to beat when playing at the Craven Cottage. Damian Duff, Clint Dempsey, Danny Murphy and Simon Davies are the four men in midfield that will be looking to cause troubles for the Citizens.
Meanwhile, Mancini is having problems constructing his defense for this encounter as England duo Joleon Lescott and Micah Richards are rated as “doubtful” going into this game. Should they miss out, City will be particularly vulnerable at the back. Mario Balotellis misses this one through suspension.

Fulham’s manager Mark Hughes will be out for revenge against the man that ultimately cost him his job – Roberto Mancini. Mancini is in deep waters himself after the dissapointing string of results for City lately.
